Founder: Art Wier
Mr. Wier started the business in 1946 and what was originally a mechanic shop grew into one of Dallas’s largest independent body shops. Mr. Wier passed away 9/1/05. He will truly be missed.
Co-Owner & Estimator: W.V. Fodge
Mr. Fodge joined Freeway Motor Service Inc. in 1953. He started out doing bodywork and quickly worked his way up the ladder. Mr. Fodge probably knows as much about cars as any one person out there.
Mr Fodge passed away 3/27/09. His legacy lives on.
Owner, General Manager & Estimator: Bob Fodge
Bob joined Freeway Motor Service Inc. in 1978. He did body work for the first 12 years before moving into the office in 1990. Bob knows all aspects of the business.
Estimator: Brandon Fodge Brandon joined Freeway Motor Service Inc. in 2007 after graduating from Texas Tech with a business degree. He's learning to write estimates and manage the business.
Shop Foreman: Melvin Adams
Melvin joined Freeway Motor Service Inc. in 1955. Melvin was originally a painter before he worked his way up to being the shop foreman. Melvin is very detail oriented and knows almost every parts man in town.
Office & Bookkeeper: Rahn Bruster
Rahn joined Freeway Motor Service Inc. in 1985. Rahn runs the front office, answers phones and handles all financial transactions. Rahn keeps everything balanced to the penny.
Freeway Motor Service Inc. also has a mechanic, body technicians, refinish technicians, detail specialists and maintenance specialists.
